Over a thirty year period John Rockwood has not only shot some fan-tab-ulous photos of blues greats, he's also made it his mission to learn from these American icons. Sometimes this has forced him to hang out and drink, sometimes to make pilgrimages to their homes or gravesites and sometimes he brought them to his hometown for concerts. Now Rockwood is sharing some of his stories and pictures in this 7-1/2" x 7-1/2" book. It's the next best thing to sitting in his living room with a glass of brown liquor listening to John tell the stories with the bluesmen playing in the background. Maybe he'll do a video next.
